Face masks, a good cause.

Think globally, act locally
With this motto in mind, I rediscovered an old hobby: my sewing machine.
I asked some friends: will a cloth mask be of any use for you and your family?
The majority response was: yes.

So, I put my hands on.

Although the short supply and overprice of almost EVERYTHING regarding PPE I repurposed some fabrics I already had. Some Liberty Tana Lawn fabrics remnants were rediscovered, and I managed to get some cotton cuts online. Just today I dropped off in Royal Mail self-services a bundle of cloth masks for a good friend for donation to the families of her cooking charity (also self-funded) @cooktocare.

So I think even in a microscopic way I am doing my part in this PANDEMIC, right?
Question is… Are you doing yours?

Still baffles me how little people in London are keen to wear face masks in public. The second country in total deaths and people carrying on with life as nothing happens. I wish I could see LOTS more out there, especially now when the government is slowing lifting lockdown restrictions.

But let's face it (fully masked!), it'll be very unlikely.
